Supporting the State Philharmonic Orchestra

Being a public institution, financial support from local institutions interested in helping us put into practice our ideas and stimulate people to come to our concerts is very important.
In order to convince you to become one of our sponsors, we have put together an attractive offer that includes advertising for your institution or company in the Philharmonic’s program and in the local and international media, a private entertaining night for your company and your clients, supplementary tickets, or discounts for tickets.
If your company has a large number of employees, we can offer you special concerts for your employees or a discount for the entire concert season for them and their families.

How can you sponsor us?

1. By sponsoring an annual concert dedicated to a target audience (students, business people, orphans, old people, high school students or professionals) that you can help choose.
2. By sponsoring one of the tours of the Philharmonic Orchestra in the country or in other countries.
3. By sponsoring a night or a lesson concert.
4. By sponsoring a concert of our program of your own choice.
5. By sponsoring one of the festivals organized by the Philharmonic.
6. By covering the transportation and accommodation costs for the conductors and the soloists invited.
7. By covering the costs for editing posters and programs.

11. Entertaining season concerts

The State Philharmonic of Sibiu intends to purchase a new concert piano, which is very necessary given the advanced state of deterioration of the piano we are using now.
The arguments in favor of this urgent need are the year 2007, when Sibiu will be the “European Cultural Capital”, the projects that the Philharmonic is currently involved in, as well as the annual editions of the Piano International Competition “Carl Filtsch”.
After talking to piano manufacturing companies and dealers, our institution put together a budget of 70,000-100,000 Euros needed to purchase a new piano or 70,000 Euros to purchase a used piano of good quality.
In order for this project to be successful, our institution started a campaign meant to identify alternative sources of finances. However, given the rather high costs involved, we also need your help.
