Orchestral audition - Collaborators

The Sibiu State Philharmonic is organizing an informational audition on May 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM, at the institution’s headquarters, for the selection of future orchestra collaborators.
 
The audition is open to instrumentalists interested in future collaborations, for the following instruments:
  • oboe, English horn, bassoon, horn, flute, violin I, violin II, cello, double bass
The purpose of this audition is to identify musicians who may be invited to join the Sibiu State Philharmonic’s artistic projects, depending on the institution’s needs.

Applications submitted after this date will not be considered.

Candidates are required to prepare the excerpts corresponding to their chosen instrument.
 
Additional information
After the application deadline, candidates will receive a confirmation email including their scheduled time slot and logistical details.

Subject to availability, the Sibiu State Philharmonic may provide practice rooms upon request.
 
The institution provides the audition venue and the evaluation panel. A pianist, accommodation, and transportation are not provided; however, accommodation recommendations can be offered upon request.
